Our School
Welcome to a unique school. We have strong historical links to our original school building and to past students. Our school has views of treed forests or surrounding hills from every classroom window.
We've ensured our students have links to the history of our local community with a chicken house, vegetable gardens and scarecrows being attended to by keen students.
Our school is a place of challenging activities and whole learning for all students!
On behalf of the school community I would like to extend a warm welcome to you.
This school has a long and proud history and one of the important parts of this is the strength of the partnerships that we build with parents to ensure that your children are given every opportunity to learn.
We believe it is our responsibility to provide a well-balanced education with a wide range of stimulating learning experiences in a supportive environment. Delaney’s Creek State School truly values the critical role parents play in their child’s education, therefore we would like to encourage you to form positive partnerships with our school community to ensure a collaborative approach is established to achieve our goals.
The central aspect of education - the point at which learning takes place, is the relationship between teachers and their students. Teachers deliver education through their relationship with students, parents and the community. Each teacher needs your support however, and I ask that you take the time to build a relationship with your child's teacher and with myself.
The purpose of this website is to help you to become more familiar with many of our practices and procedures and to assist your transition into our school community. We’d like to invite you to contact us with any queries and ideas, as we are keen to provide quality educational services to all our families.
I look forward to working with you to support the development of your child.
